He was the Messiah, kind of an ultimate king to everyone. Romans were afraid that he is a threat to their kingdom and planned to kill him. In the last supper, Christ and the 12 disciples sat together and Christ announced that someone sitting with us will deceive us. They swore that they won't but Christ knew better. Judas so as to indicate the Romans kissed Jesus’ hand also known as the Judas kiss and Romans caught Jesus. They asked him to carry his own cross and then put nails on his hands and feet and crucified him. The agony and questions were visible on everyone's face. Public asked him if he is the son of God why can't he saves himself. So as to prove the power of God again Jesus resurrected after three days and told everyone to keep on believing in the God as he is the ultimate truth.
The show did every justice to the characters as it can make viewer sit in awe. It not only tells the story but also spreads the messages humanity has forgotten and also one of the reasons to be dubbed in several languages as it can cover a larger audience. It tells that no one can kill the truth.
