What do the area’s most brilliant high school and undergraduate students with a scientific bent do for the summer? They gain hands-on experience working with nanotechnology, bioinformatics, neuroscience, proteomics, and genomic analysis at George Mason University’s Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program ().Competition for admittance is stiff. Mason's Shuttle Services provides FREE transportation for students, faculty, staff and contracted services employees with a valid Mason ID. All passengers MUST show a Mason ID to ride Mason Shuttles from the following stops. 2019 Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program Application Applications must be submitted by February 15, 2019, at 11:59 pm. Please note, it is not possible to save information and return at a later time to finish the application. Designed for high school and undergraduate students interested in exploring cutting-edge science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) research, the Aspiring Scientist Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) will be accepting applications until February 15, 2014.

    I remember one year they got approximately 3000 applications so not everyone is going to be called for an interview.
