Ipod Nano Software 1.1 3

Ipod

Download iOS Firmware 1.1.3 (26) For iPod Nano 3G. With the 1.0.3 software update for the iPod nano (7th generation), you can customize closed captions and subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Enabling captions and subtitles After you update your iPod nano, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Subtitles & Captioning > Turn on Closed Captioning. The iPod touch running the 1.1.3 software with the iPod touch January Software Update is essentially an iPhone that can’t make or receive calls and lacks a speaker and camera. And it’s a nice thing to see. Many people found the lack of some of the iPhone’s features and applications on the touch more than a bit arbitrary.

I plugged in my Nano (2nd gen) and received the message; 'A new iPod software version (1.1.3) is available for the iPod '-my iPod-'. Would you like to download and install it now?'
My options are, [Cancel], [Download and Install], and [Download Only].
I selected [Download Only]. It downloaded the software, so I assume. I went through the disconnect proceedure, knowing I haven't upgraded anything yet. I came back later to actually UPGRADE without having to download it again and I get the SAME message;
'A new iPod software version (1.1.3) is available for the iPod '-my iPod-'. Would you like to download and install it now?'
Where does iTunes store this download and what filename is it and WHY is it insisting I download it AGAIN? I'm still using 1.1.1 trying to get to 1.1.3. If this post sounds like it's coming from someone on dial-up, you would be correct.
